Hyacinth Zine is an ongoing editorial project dedicated to Eastern European queer identities. The opening issue of the zine explored the possibility of building Polish queer mythologies that would challenge the ideological system of the country. The second issue explored the idea of longing, and dived into Slavic rituals connected to love and desire by looking at them through a queer lens.
Jacek Gleba is an MA fashion student at Central Saint Martins. His work looks at the intersection of LGBT+ issues and sustainability, as it is based on building queer ecosystems, where nature, sexuality and community interact. Hyacinth Zine is the space where he shares the conversations and stories that are behind each of his collections.
